Chu Wang(王初)

Professor, College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University

Principal Investigator, Synthetic and Functional Biomolecules Center and Peking-Tsinghua Center for Life Sciences

He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2001 and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington in 2007, where he studied under David Baker. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Washington and The Scripps Research Institute before joining Peking University in 2013. His group develops chemical biology and chemoproteomics approaches to identify functional sites in the proteome and investigate their roles in protein regulation and cellular processes.

Possu Huang

Assistant Professor, Department of Bioengineering, Stanford University

He received his B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology (Biochemistry) from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research in David Baker's laboratory at the University of Washington before establishing his group at Stanford. His research integrates computational protein design, machine learning, structural biology, and experimental optimization. His contributions include the de novo design of TIM-barrel proteins and the development of eOD, an HIV vaccine immunogen.

Rosetta Commons
